Sadiah Moid
Intern
Hi there, I’m Sadiah
I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, scheduled to graduate in August of 2025.
Before working towards my counseling degree and joining Living Pono, I was a teacher working with children between the ages of 8 and 12. Though I have experience working with children, I am also passionate about counseling adults, couples, and individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds.
My psychodynamic and person-centered therapeutic approach focuses on fostering empathy, safety, and multicultural understanding. I am interested in exploring creative approaches to therapy, such as movement, play, and art and aspire to incorporate these methods in my sessions.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH
in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance
In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.
We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
